In compliance with AYSO National Rules and Regulations, the Regional Board of Directors of AYSO Region 894 announces the opening of nominations and elections for the position of Regional Commissioner for a 3-year term.
The Regional Commissioner (RC) is responsible for the daily operations of our local region. This volunteer position typically requires 10–20+ hours per week, depending on the season and regional activities. The RC is also required to travel twice per year for the National Annual General Meeting (NAGM) and the AYSO EXPO—both trips are covered by the Region.

The current RC term ends February 28, 2026, and the new term for the elected RC will begin March 1, 2026.
Nomination Process

Nomination Period: December 1, 2025 – December 30, 2025

Eligibility: Any member in good standing within our Region may be nominated. Prior AYSO volunteer or Board experience is strongly preferred.

Selection Process

All nominations will be reviewed by the Nomination Committee.

The final vote will be conducted by eligible Regional Board Members, with oversight from the Area Director.

Election Date: January 6, 2026, at Asbury Church Harvest.
